The group’s name combines “x,” representing coordinates, with “hikers,” meaning travelers. Together, the name symbolizes young adventurers journeying through time and space in search of their coordinates-the fans who guide their path. This concept is woven into every aspect of their music, performances, and visual storytelling, giving xikers a distinct identity in an increasingly crowded industry.
xikers made history early in their career by becoming the first fifth-generation K-pop group to land two albums in the top 100 of the Billboard 200 within just one year of debuting. Their debut EP entered the Billboard 200 at No. 75, and their third mini album, HOUSE OF TRICKY : Trial And Error, peaked at No. 73, marking their highest ranking on the chart at the time. These achievements, combined with consistent album sales growth and expanding world tours, have positioned xikers as one of the most promising rookies of their generation.

Who Is xikers?
xikers is a ten-member boy group formed by KQ Entertainment, consisting of Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujun, Hunter, and Yechan. Originally introduced as KQ Fellaz 2-the successor to the trainee team that eventually became ATEEZ-the members were first unveiled to the public through the reality show KQ Fellaz 2: Ready To One in August 2022. The group officially debuted on March 30, 2023, with the mini album HOUSE OF TRICKY : Doorbell Ringing and the double title tracks “TRICKY HOUSE” and “ROCKSTAR”.
What sets xikers apart is their commitment to a cohesive artistic universe. The HOUSE OF TRICKY series, which spanned multiple releases from their debut through 2025’s HOUSE OF TRICKY : WRECKING THE HOUSE, established a narrative framework that mirrors the group’s own journey of growth and self-discovery. Their music is characterized by unconventional song structures, aggressive rapping, and genre-blurring production that draws from hip-hop, EDM, and alternative K-pop.
The fandom name, roady, carries deep symbolic meaning. It represents the fans becoming the y-coordinates that present the road xikers will walk down, joining the group on their adventures. This interconnected concept between artist and fandom has helped xikers cultivate a particularly dedicated international following.
Group History
Formation and Pre-Debut
The seeds of xikers were planted in 2018 when KQ Entertainment introduced KQ Fellaz, an eight-member trainee group that eventually debuted as ATEEZ in October 2018. Four years later, the agency began preparing a new generation of artists to follow in ATEEZ’s footsteps.
In August 2022, ten trainees were introduced through the reality show KQ Fellaz 2: Ready To One. The show documented their training, workshops, and journey toward debut, giving fans an intimate look at the members’ growth. At the show’s finale, KQ Fellaz 2 released the pre-debut single “Geek,” which was composed and written by member Minjae. This early display of creative involvement signaled that xikers would be a group deeply engaged in their own artistry.
The trainees subsequently appeared in additional reality content, including The Player: KPop Quest, further building anticipation. On February 24, 2023, KQ Entertainment launched official social media channels and unveiled an “Identity Film” that revealed the group’s official name: xikers. More reality shows followed in March, including Tricky House and Let’s Go xikers, as fans eagerly awaited the debut.
Before their official debut, xikers had the opportunity to perform at KCON 2023 Thailand on March 18, where they covered 2PM’s “Heartbeat” and performed their upcoming debut single “TRICKY HOUSE”. This early international exposure foreshadowed the group’s global ambitions.
Official Debut
xikers officially debuted on March 30, 2023, with the mini album HOUSE OF TRICKY : Doorbell Ringing. The album was a commercial success, reaching No. 4 on both the Korean Circle Album Chart and the Billboard World Album Chart. It also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 75, making xikers one of the fastest-rising rookie groups in recent memory. The debut EP’s first-week sales exceeded 100,000 copies, placing it among the highest first-week sales for a boy group debut album in K-pop history at the time.
Breakthrough Success
The momentum continued with their second mini album, HOUSE OF TRICKY : HOW TO PLAY, released in August 2023. This release further solidified their sound and concept, while their third mini album, HOUSE OF TRICKY : Trial And Error (March 2024), achieved their highest Billboard 200 ranking at No. 73. With this, xikers became the first fifth-generation K-pop group to place two albums in the top 100 of the Billboard 200 within a year of debut.

Concepts
