Professionally, Lee Kwang-soo is a fantastic actor, model, and entertainer. In the year 2008, the multi-talented personality made his acting debut. It all started with the sitcom Here He Comes. The actor rose to prominence with his roles in films and television drama series such as It’s Okay, That’s Love, Confession, Collective Invention, The Sound of Your Heart, Live, and Inseparable Bros, among many more.

He is also well-known internationally as one of the regular cast members of Running Man. It is a South Korean variety show in which Kwang-soo appeared from 2010 until 2021.

When it comes to the beginning of Kwang-career soo’s in the entertainment industry, he began as a model in 2007. He then made his acting debut in 2008. Kwang-soo followed his first sitcom Here He Comes with High Kick Through the Roof.

2010 – 2013

Kwang-soo gained a large number of worldwide followers as a result of his role in Running Man. As a result, Kwang-soo earned the title “Prince of Asia.” Kwang-soo also won back-to-back SBS Entertainment Awards in 2010 and 2011 for his participation in this SBS variety show. 2014 – 2015

In 2014, the actor played his first major role in Confession. The tale centers around three buddies in this neo-noir film. Their bond is shattered when the three become entangled in a murder investigation. Ji Sung and Ju Ji-hoon played the other pals beside Lee Kwang-soo.

Kwang-soo returned to television in It’s Okay, That’s Love. His role in this medical dramatization is a Tourette syndrome patient. He later collaborated on the film A Dynamite Family with Hwang Chansung, a member of the famed South Korean boyband 2 PM. This film is about five brothers who reside in the Deoksu village.

Similarly, an actor appeared in Collective Invention in 2015. He portrayed a protagonist whose illness is caused by the side effects of a recently launched medicine. The Vanguard section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival featured this film. As a result, he made his first red carpet appearance at an international film festival with this film.

Kwang-soo also participated in the two-episode drama Puck! Kwang-soo portrayed a loan shark who joins a college ice hockey team in this project. Later that year, he was named ambassador for the 2015 Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo. He was also recognized by the commerce minister for his contributions to the Korean Wave industry.

After 2015

Lee starred in Entourage and The Sound of Your Heart in 2016. The actor was then confirmed to participate as a regular cast member on the variety show Busted! in September 2017. In 2018, the actor portrayed a police officer in Live. His character strives to uphold principles and uphold justice in everyday life. He then appears in The Accidental Detective 2: In Action.

Similarly, he appeared in Inseparable Bros and Tazza: One-Eyed Jack in 2019. In the former, Kwang-soo won his first Baeksang Arts Awards for “Best Supporting Actor” for his performance as Park Dong-goo, a man with a significant intellectual disability. Unfortunately, he was engaged in an automobile accident on February 15, 2020. Because of the accident, all of his activities were put on hold until he recovered from an ankle injury. Then, in June, it was announced that Kwang-soo would appear in The Pirates: Goblin Flag.

Furthermore, the actor’s agency stated on April 27, 2021, that Kwang-soo will leave Running Man. This was done so that the actor may concentrate on his or her treatment and recovery from the accident. His final recording will be on May 24, 2021.
